AMIDEAST and Saudi Electric Services Polytechnic (SESP), a subsidiary of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), signed a large-scale training agreement in September,2013 AMIDEAST’s strategic partner in Saudi Arabia, Global Dimension for Education and Training (GDET), is participating in the execution of this program. The five-year contract provides for the establishment of a training program designed to raise the English language, math, and science skills of 400 new SEC recruits annually. AMIDEAST set up and is managing the new English Language and Technical Bridging Program at the Juaymah Training Center, a brand new, state-of-the-art facility north of Dammam. In addition to recruiting a team of educators qualified in the various subject areas.
AMIDEAST is supervising the delivery of all instruction, and is providing comprehensive quality assurance services. This is a strategic partnership between SEC, SESP, AMIDEAST, GDET and TVTC and will help ensure that Saudization within SEC continues. SEC has achieved a suadization rate of about 87%, which is one of the highest of any other company within the Kingdom.
SESP signed a training and management services agreement with AMIDEAST on 18/9/2013, and GDET signed an agreement with AMIDEAST on 29/10/2013 to participate in the execution of this project.
